Oil Paint on Canvas 30"x30" 2010 Original photo is by Dorothea Lange of a boy working through some barley or other grain to put into his work sack. The bag has a few words on it, but the one word that stands out on the very front is "worth". To me, this meant that the worth of this person can be seen in his hands. This was representative of the entire Great Depression and the struggle to clamber out of that state of the nation.
